Architectural Hardware Finish Designations

This table shows common finishes found on builder’s hardware manufactured in the United States . Only finishes available from Access Hardware Products are shown. The first column indicates the BHMA number, the second column the (old) US standard number (if available) and the third column indicates the finish description. Finishes which have the same name (satin chrome) may appear slightly different due to base metal differences.

The 2000 Series Rim Exit Device is aesthetically designed for a commercial environment, engineered to Grade 1 specs and is ready for shipment July 1, 2008.
